As head chef, you’re responsible for the heart of our restaurant: the kitchen. Together with your team, you’ll develop seasonal menus based on pure ingredients from local suppliers. You combine creativity with precision, ensure each plate is spot-on, and each service runs smoothly.
You’re right in the middle of operations – from breakfast to à la carte dinner – and take the lead in taste, pace, and atmosphere. At the same time, you keep the overview: managing the team, planning schedules, handling purchasing, and safeguarding quality, hygiene, and efficiency.
You’ll work closely with our F&B Manager – an experienced Michelin-star chef – and you’ll have all the freedom to leave your personal mark on the menu and the kitchen.
Sustainability is woven into everything we do – from the ingredients you use to the choices you make in the kitchen. We aim for a Green Key Gold certification, and as head chef, you’ll be a driving force in that mission. You’ll think along on responsible sourcing, reduce waste, and know how to run a top-level kitchen with care for people, animals, and the planet.
You’re an energetic head chef with ideas, a refined sense of taste, and an open mindset. You enjoy collaboration but aren’t afraid to lead. Even in busy moments, you stay calm and focused – and bring your team with you. You’re flexible with your hours and have a sharp eye for detail – in flavour, presentation, and organisation.
You already have a hygiene certificate (or are willing to obtain one quickly). And perhaps most importantly: you love your craft and want to make people happy with what you create.
We offer employment under the Dutch hospitality industry (KHN) collective labour agreement, with a full-time workweek of 38 hours and 25 vacation days per year.
