Vacature General Manager

As General Manager, you are the beating heart of Blendin Bloemendaal. You ensure that everything runs smoothly—from breakfast to evening service—while maintaining the perfect balance between guest experience, team dynamics, and performance.

You are present and engaged on the floor, yet equally sharp when it comes to the numbers at the table.

Fulltime · Hotel Blendin Bloemendaal

Blendin Bloemendaal is a boutique hideaway where coastal charm, design, and personal attention come together. Our hotel offers peace, space, and inspiration for guests looking to escape the rush of everyday life—or to connect in one of our elegant meeting hubs.

The atmosphere is relaxed, the team is dedicated, and our ambition is clear: to create a guest experience that truly resonates.

A Week in Your Role

Your week begins with a quick walk through the departments. You check in with your colleagues to see how the morning started and where you can lend a hand. Is breakfast busy? You’ll just as easily serve a cappuccino or help your colleague regain overview and calm.

At 11:00 AM, you lead the daily huddle: what’s happening today, what’s urgent, and how can we support each other? Afterwards, you walk through the meeting hubs — are the rooms looking their best, is the atmosphere right, and is the team well-informed?

Once operations are running smoothly, you dive into the strategic side of your role. You analyze the productivity report, evaluate KPIs, and prepare for your meeting with the Manager Operations of Blendin Amsterdam. Together, you explore ways to optimize performance — whether in staffing, F&B, or guest experience.

At the end of the day, you make sure the evening shift is off to a good start and that everyone has had a chance to eat. Tomorrow there’s an event in one of the meeting hubs, so you’ll start a bit later to be there for the evening as well.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to bring structure and ownership to a growing team.

• Excellent command of Dutch, English, and German (spoken and written).

What We Offer

• An inspiring work environment close to the beach, where personality and initiative are truly valued.

• The opportunity to actively contribute to the development of the Blendin brand and the boutique experience we strive to create.
