Soon to open in our award-winning boutique hotel Blendin Bloemendaal: The Blonde – a restaurant perched atop the dunes, with a panoramic view of the sea.

We serve food that reflects where you are: honest Dutch cuisine with international influences, no frills, high quality.

A place where locals and travellers come together, get surprised, and discover new flavours.

Your Role as Host/Hostess

You’re the first face our guests see – and the last. With natural charm, you welcome them, guide them through the evening, and make sure every table feels like a great place to be. You know the menu, stay on top of what’s happening, and effortlessly balance personal attention with professional oversight.

Together with your colleagues, you ensure the service is spot-on down to the smallest details. You anticipate needs, think along, and always keep an eye on the atmosphere, timing, and quality. Whether it’s an à la carte dinner, a scenic breakfast, or a special event, you help create an experience guests won’t soon forget.

You work closely with the maître-sommelier and the kitchen team in a setting that values sustainability, teamwork, and craftsmanship.

Who You Are

You have experience in hospitality – ideally in a hotel or fine dining setting – and feel comfortable in a refined yet personal environment. You speak fluent Dutch and English (German is a plus), communicate clearly, and move smoothly between guest interactions and team collaboration. You’re well-presented, social, and keep your cool when things get busy.

As a host or hostess, you work in rotating shifts, ranging from early breakfasts to à la carte dinners in the evening. Some morning shifts start bright and early – so you don’t mind getting up before sunrise when scheduled for breakfast service.

We’re happy to discuss which type of contract suits you best. Both part-time and full-time are possible; the number of hours can be tailored together with you.

Flexibility in working hours comes with the territory, along with a keen eye for detail and a genuine passion for hospitality. Affinity with sustainability? Even better!

What We Offer You

We offer employment under the Dutch hospitality industry (KHN) collective labour agreement, with a full-time workweek of 38 hours and 25 vacation days per year.
